Stephanie buttner MSW, LCSW

       Every Age Every Stage Clinician

My past experiences have been in community-based mental health as a crisis clinician and as a school-based therapist. Through these roles, I’ve learned the importance of co-regulation and remaining person-centered to aid people in stabilizing and working on the underlying factors that contribute to their distress.

I’m passionate about working with children and families who have experienced adversity. I’m trained and have received supervision in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and Sand Tray Therapy. Through my past work experiences, I have had the opportunity to witness how play therapy provides children with the space to feel grounded, connected and experience healing.

My therapeutic approach is focused on attachment, family systems and psychodynamic modalities. I believe that many of the wounds we carry often stem from unaddressed hurts that occurred in past relationships. Therapy can often be a first step in addressing difficult relational patterns and re-experiencing connection that mitigates symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, mood disorders and trauma.

My goal is to create a safe space in which you can be your true self

and experience growth and healing in our time together and outside our sessions
